2017-2018
Together with academic actors from the Baltic Sea Region, I helped develop the first vocational education curriculum for educational technology (EdTech) in the EU to introduce students to this new and exciting discipline.
We used Design Thinking techniques to foster a shared understanding of the common goal while discussing the resources each participant could bring to the project.
I provided input for the curriculum’s conceptual design based on my experience from developing educational applications and developmental psychology and networking opportunities through my German EdTech scene engagement.
For the first run in 2018, the training only admitted 20 students.
My involvement in this project allowed me to collaborate with various experts from academic institutions around Europe, resulting in further chances to engage with students as a guest speaker to foster a spirit of lifelong learning.
